Unlike older, congested “reliever” airports, Waukegan is located just outside the Class B airspace surrounding O’Hare International and Midway Airports. As a result, pilots find that getting in and out of the DB Aviation facility is easier and less time consuming. The difficulties presented by short runways and costly vectors to avoid O’Hare traffic is virtually eliminated by choosing Waukegan Regional.
